We are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Setters to join a well-established engineering business with a strong reputation in precision manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and proactive machinists who take pride in producing high-quality work on large-scale components
The Role
Programming and setting Heidenheim CNC machines
Working from technical drawings to produce precise components
Manufacturing large castings - some weighing up to 5 tonnes
Producing a range of fabrications to customer specifications
Maintaining high quality and safety standards at all times
Requirements
Proven CNC programming and setting skills
Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Self-sufficient and proactive in your work
Mature approach with a stable employment history (no job hopping)
Industry experience in heavy engineering, big fabrications, or large castings
Shifts & Benefits
6am - 4pm Mon-Wed, 6am - 3pm Thurs
Overtime: Available on Fridays at time and a half
4-day week for a great work/life balance
Will be required to carry out the occasional late shift
