The Business Development Manager – (Renewables) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the renewables market, particularly in offshore wind and green energy projects. The role requires a proactive individual with strong industry knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Business Growth & Strategy
Develop and implement a business development strategy to expand Navantia UK’s presence in the renewables sector.
Identify and pursue new opportunities in offshore wind, floating wind, and other renewable energy markets.
Market & Competitive Analysis
Assess potential risks and challenges in the industry, providing strategic insights to senior management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with company capabilities.
Represent Navantia UK at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s visibility.
Develop strategic partnerships with clients, suppliers, and government agencies to drive business opportunities.
Project Development & Tendering
Work closely with the commercial and procurement teams to develop compelling proposals for renewable energy projects.
Support contract negotiations and project initiation to ensure successful execution of awarded projects.
Navantia UK offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the renewables industry, working on innovative projects that contribute to the UK’s clean energy future. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Proven track record in business development within the renewables, offshore wind, or energy sector.
Strong understanding of the UK and international renewable energy market, particularly offshore wind.
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with industry stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and bid management.
Ability to work independently and drive projects from inception to completion.
