This is a 12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover, offering an excellent opportunity to be part of a high‑profile local authority contract where effective information management is critical to successful delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring project documentation is accurately controlled, compliant, and readily accessible to project teams, partners and the client.
This role will suit someone who is highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Managing and maintaining project documentation within the Common Data Environment (CDE)
* Registering, distributing and tracking incoming and outgoing documents, drawings and correspondence
* Ensuring document control processes, workflows and naming conventions are correctly applied and adhered to
* Maintaining accurate internal and external document registers, with full version and configuration control
* Supporting project teams and supply chain partners with document control systems and processes
* Carrying out quality checks on documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance prior to issue
* Managing document archiving from pre‑construction through to project completion and handover
* Handling sensitive and confidential information in line with contractual and company requirements
* Working closely with the wider project team to support efficient and timely information flow
