Hiring Senior Electrical Engineer to work with a team producing and delivering electrical design of allocated M&E Projects as instructed by the Lead M&E Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Ensure projects meet all client requirements and applicable standards.
* Produce designs that meet the requirements of the Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) and Lead Engineer.
* Ensure designs are completed to the agreed timescales.
* Plan allocated design work to meet timescales.
* Identify changes to client requirements and raise them with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
* Travel to client sites and other SYSTRA offices as required.
* Flexibility in working hours to meet role demands.
Qualifications
* Good communication and presentation skills.
* Self‑motivated team player able to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to build and maintain good relationships with engineers from other internal discipline teams and promote "One Team" ethos.
* Good understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and requirements.
* Knowledge of electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure, including railway lineside systems, signalling power, level crossings, LV distribution, lighting, small power, containment, earthing or fire alarms.
* Experience in using Trimble ProDesign/Electrical OM, Microstation and/or Relux/Dialux design software.
* Knowledge of multi‑disciplinary issues associated with M&E and/or building services.
* Experience working with offshore production centres.
* Experience with Network Rail IP ProjectWise and/or BIM standards.
* Knowledge of construction principles and standards.
* Qualified to HNC or equivalent.
* Desirable: Ability to undertake overseas assignments.
* Desirable: Ideally an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer.
