Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and have proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Duties
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of transactions
* Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment scheduling
* Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
* Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting processes
* Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for data entry and reporting
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is available
* Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
* Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
