As part of the Technology Transformation team at BBC Studios, youll be joining a dynamic, collaborative group that drives change across the entire content supply chain. We work at the intersection of technology, media and innovation – partnering with product teams to deliver impactful solutions that shape how content is created, managed and distributed globally.
Were looking for someone with corporate and some business analysis experience to join us. Youll be part of a team that values curiosity, clarity and continuous improvement. Alongside your day-to-day business analysis tasks, youll grow through a mix of hands-on projects and dedicated study, working towards an industry recognised qualification while gaining practical experience in business analysis. Youll also explore how AI can enhance decision making, streamline processes and unlock new opportunities across the business.
Your key responsibilities and impact
As a Business Analyst with AI (BAI26) apprentice, this is a brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute - you will:
* Learn how to apply AI to drive organisational and operational change in the business.
* Explore how BBC Studios develops AI solutions within an ethical and responsible framework.
* Build your knowledge of business analysis tools and AI technologies, gradually taking on more responsibility as your confidence grows.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and help shape innovative solutions.
* Contribute to the design and delivery of AI-enabled workflows and processes that support our strategic goals.
* Deliver your own AI-focused projects as part of an inclusive team that values diverse perspectives and supports your development.
Youll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means youll spend at least one day a week studying for your L4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship with Corndel, in partnership with Imperial College, London:
* AI enabled business transformation processes.
* Ethical AI decision making.
* Stakeholder engagement.
* Solution assessment.
* Business case development.
* Project Management.
* Strategic AI implementation to create business value.

Your skills and eligibility
Were interested in your passion for working at the BBC and your enthusiasm for delivering world-class content and operational excellence to our audiences. While formal qualifications in business analysis arent essential, were looking for someone ideally who already has some BA skills and experience from a corporate environment.
This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to build on your existing capabilities, formalise your expertise, and explore how AI can transform business analysis and the way we work. If you can bring some of these skills and experiences, along with transferable strengths, wed love to hear from you and encourage you to apply:
* Has some experience in business and corporate environments, ideally with exposure to transformation or delivery projects.
* Is excited about embracing the latest AI tools to enhance business analysis and drive innovation.
* Brings excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills, with a natural flair for problem solving.
* Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Has a keen interest in commercial applications, systems, and how technology supports business strategy.
* Is keen to formalise their business analysis expertise through a recognised qualification while applying it to real-world AI projects.

Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must:
* Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026.
* Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.
* Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
* Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme, whether with the BBC or another organisation.
* Not have completed or hold qualifications in the apprenticeship subject at the same or higher level.

* Have maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or National 5 (Scotland) at C or equivalent qualification.
