Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the Hotel by:
7. Conducting routine inspections of equipment, machinery and systems
8. Carrying out minor repairs and troubleshooting faulty equipment
9. Supporting preventative, planned and reactive Maintenance tasks
10. Assisting with general upkeep including painting, basic plumbing and carpentry
11. Maintaining clean and organised work areas with safe storage of tools
12. Monitoring and reporting on maintenance supplies and equipment
13. Ensuring all health and safety standards are met
14. Supporting with room set-ups for events
15. Helping with outdoor garden work as required
What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll ideally have:
16. Previous experience in Maintenance, ideally within a Hotel or hospitality environment
17. Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
18. Skills in basic electrical work, plumbing, tiling and re-decoration
19. Pool plant experience or certification (desirable)
20. Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
