What you’ll do
* Work directly with end-users to define system requirements and oversee project delivery in terms of solution alignment to customer needs and expectations.
* Prepare or assist in the preparation of project documentation, including, but not limited to, System Requirements Specifications, Functional Specifications, System Design Specifications, and Data Migration Plans, as necessary.
* Design, configure and unit‑test user interface components and server components according to project specifications.
* Install and configure solutions in client environments as required to support the project team.
* Prepare training materials and perform training for end‑users and system administrators.
* Perform data migration of customer legacy data in conjunction with the technical team.
* Review and provide input to project documentation, including but not limited to the Project Plan, Project Schedule, project estimates, and the Issues and Actions Log.
* Perform solution configuration reviews submitted by other consultants to ensure adherence to standards.
* Keep the project manager apprised of the status of assigned tasks, all key customer communications, and all issues that arise.
* Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and defect resolution, and answering functionality questions by users and administrators.
* Adhere to Kinsmen Group standards and defined methodologies, as outlined in standard operating procedures and guidelines.
* Assist in quality assurance activities, as necessary.
* Serve as technical expert and provide technical assistance for all services employees.
* Assist in the sales process by performing product demonstrations, providing technical guidance and recommendations, and preparing technical estimates.
* Work independently with minimal supervision.
* Consistently complete tasks on schedule or ahead of schedule - and within budget.
* Deliver high‑quality projects with minimal defects.
* Manage the overall development effort for a project and support project management responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
* Recognized by customers and coworkers as a technical expert.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Solution Consultant in the field of Engineering Information Management.
* Minimum experience of 10 projects in the role of Solution Consultant or similar.
* Solid understanding of document management, data‑driven software solutions.
* Full project lifecycle experience.
* Experience in requirements gathering and business analysis.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to train others and perform demonstrations.
* Solid problem‑solving skills.
* Team player.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
* Ability to travel up to 30% across UK and North America.
* Self‑motivated.
