About the Role:
As Production Manager, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly impact the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage production schedules and resources to meet output targets and deadlines.
* Manage Team Managers.
* Uphold and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Focus on food safety and quality, adhering to company and industry policies and procedures.
* Lead and motivate production teams to achieve KPIs, quality benchmarks, and operational efficiency.
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
About You:
* Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar role within the FMCG sector (food industry preferred).
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and a track record of implementing safety best practices.
* Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* HACCP qualified.
Package:
* £50,000 per year.
* 7% pension plan noncontributory.
* 4on4off DAYS.
