The Governors of Alfreton Nursery School wish to appoint a highly motivated individual to take up a post in our school as soon as possible. Nursery Nurse
Key Responsibilities
* Providing high quality care for all children at Alfreton Nursery School.
* Liaising with parents and external professionals on a regular basis.
* Carrying out observations and assessments electronically.
* Supporting children with SEND.
* Planning stimulating and challenging activities for children, in particular for children with SEND.
Requirements
* NVQ level 3 in childcare.
* Knowledge of Safeguarding.
* Knowledge of the EYFS.
* Desire and enthusiasm to support pupils with SEND to achieve their full potential.
* Ability to deal with behaviours that challenge.
* Enthusiastic, confident, and able to show initiative.
* Effective communicator with children, students, staff and parents.
* Friendly, fun, flexible and caring.
* Good communication skills.
* Experience of working with children and SEND.
* Friendly with a good sense of humour.
* Possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Can work as part of a team and effective alone.
* Calm and patient.
