We're looking for a Senior Strategic Engagement Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £55,000 - £60,000.
The purpose of this role is to enhance ICAEW's role in being a critical link between education providers, employers and government agencies. The role holder will be responsible for significantly strengthening ICAEW's relationship and programmes with universities, schools and education providers, enabling closer ties with employers and helping educators to adapt their learning provision for the future of work.
What you will be doing
* Design and deliver new partnership initiatives with universities, education agencies and education providers focused on supporting skills development and employer engagement.
* Attend and speak at conferences and events to help promote visibility of ICAEW as partner of choice for education providers.
* Work with education providers to respond and inform education policy such as apprenticeships, evolving education models, addressing skills shortages and pathways into Chartered Accountancy.
* Work closely with ICAEW's Business Development and employer facing teams to source industry input into educator programmes.
* Build and develop relationships with prominent organisations that can support ICAEW's partner proposition to education providers.
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
What you will need
* The ability to build relationships with faculty and decision makers across professional, higher and school/further education providers, public sector and employers.
* Accomplished speaker who can talk with credibility on a range of relevant issues to education, the future of work and skills provision.
* A strong grasp of relevant policy issues impacting the education sector.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering initiatives that have delivered measurable outcomes with education providers and/or employers.
* Ability to take the initiative and work proactively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
