Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people with complex needs? We’re looking for a compassionate, resilient Support Worker to join a specialist school team in Frodsham, supporting pupils aged 2–17 in small, nurturing class settings.

Who You’ll Be Supporting

Children and young people with a wide range of needs including autism, PMLD, SEMH, sensory processing differences, and communication challenges. Every day is different—and every child deserves someone who sees their potential.

The Role

1. Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support across the school day

2. Assist with personal care, emotional regulation, and communication strategies

3. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver consistent, person-centred care

4. Use creative approaches to engage pupils and celebrate progress

5. Support transitions, routines, and therapeutic interventions

What We’re Looking For

6. Experience in SEND settings (school, care, or community)

7. Confidence supporting children with complex needs across age groups

8. Calm, empathetic approach with strong teamwork skills

9. Willingness to learn and adapt to individual pupil profiles

10. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
