Tooling, MI & Reporting Manager
Based in Unity Place, Milton Keynes or Glasgow, the role supervises the end‑to‑end data lifecycle, from acquisition and storage to analysis and dissemination. The position ensures data assets are managed effectively, securely and in compliance with regulations and organisational policies.
Responsibilities
* Design and evolve tooling solutions and data platforms to support Operational Resilience strategy and decision‑making.
* Develop and maintain IBS resilience dashboards and visualisation, ensuring clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
* Build and deliver Pillar‑level resilience metrics (KRIs) with strong data definitions, controls and governance.
* Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion and integration of vulnerability data from multiple sources (e.g. VM tooling).
* Establish data models, structures and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability and traceability.
* Implement data quality controls and validation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness and reliability of MI outputs.
* Enable data‑driven insights and advanced analytics to support resilience, risk identification and strategic decision‑making.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data and reporting solutions.
Qualifications
* Professional Experience: Design and deliver data platforms, reporting solutions or MI dashboards (required). Strong experience in data engineering, modelling or analytics within complex environments (required). Experience with operational resilience, risk or regulatory reporting data (required). Preferred experience delivering end‑to‑end data solutions (ingestion, transformation, visualisation).
* Education: Undergraduate degree in Data, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (preferred). Professional certifications in Data Engineering, Analytics or Governance frameworks (preferred).
* Languages: English (required).
* Hard Skills: Knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, pipelines, integration) (required). Experience with data visualisation and dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) (required). Expertise in data modelling, data structures, information architecture (required). Understanding of data quality frameworks and validation techniques (required). Experience with metrics design (KRIs/KPIs) and data‑driven reporting frameworks (required). Knowledge of data governance and regulatory requirements e.g. GDPR (preferred).
* Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability (required). Ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights (required). Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (required). Ability to lead delivery and influence across technical and business teams (required). Continuous improvement mindset focusing on innovation and automation (required).

* Salary range: £54 000 to £81 000 per annum, depending on experience.

Work arrangements
The role is site‑based with a hybrid working pattern. Colleagues are expected to attend the office at least 12 days per month, pro‑rata for part‑time roles.
