Wolseley Canada is looking to hire a permanent and fulltime DZ truck driver to support our London location.

What you will do:
12. Responsible for transporting material to and from customer sites between branches and other locations
13. Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route
14. Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule
15. Consolidate items and skids to maximize space in the truck using a pump truck to load material
16. Strap and/or secures material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport
17. Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites other branches or warehouses using the most effective itinerary or assigned itinerary
18. Unload products according to the destination’s applicable rules
19. Responsible for obtaining a signature of acknowledgment of delivery
What you will bring:
20. Valid Class DZ license required
21. Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience
22. Clean driver’s abstract is required )No traffic tickets, no points, and no “at-fault” accidents within the last 3 years)
23. Exceptional customer service and communication skills
24. Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
25. Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
26. Valid Boom Truck Crane Operator Certification is an asset
27. Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset
28. WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
29. Certification for Transportation of Dangerous Goods considered an asset
30. Motorized Material Handling Equipment Certification considered an asset
31. Forklift certified or ability to be certified
