An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the 'East' Physiotherapy Rotation at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT). The rotation is based in Brighton & Hove and Lewes and is a fixed‑term post until April 2027 with the possibility of extension to permanent employment.
We welcome applications from current Band 5 Physiotherapists and from Graduate Physiotherapists who are pending HCPC registration. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from candidates who have not yet completed their Physiotherapy degree.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence – required for home visits.
* Ability to work a 37.5‑hour week, typically between 08:00 and 17:00, with flexibility in arrangements.
Responsibilities
* Supervised caseload within the East Rotation.
* Participate in a programme of continuing professional development.
* Develop and extend skills across a range of clinical specialties including inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

* Intermediate Care Units (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
* Falls and Fracture Prevention
* Amputee Rehabilitation (Split Rotation with Community Therapy)
* Home First (Supported Discharge)
Preceptorship Programme
* 12‑month structured scheme for first‑time Band 5 posts post‑graduation.
* Aims to help new starters integrate, build confidence and competence, settle into their role, and progress to fully autonomous practice.
* Includes training, watched assessments, networking and learning opportunities.
