Our Relaunch event
We are also hosting a special in-person event in partnership with Career Returners to give you the opportunity to explore the programme and meet the people behind it.

Time: 11am-2pm

1. A panel discussion with Capgemini returner alumni sharing their journeys
2. A confidence-building workshop led by a Career Returners coach
3. Networking opportunities with hiring managers and programme leads
4. A Q&A session to answer your questions about the programme and application process

About the job you’re considering
We’re currently looking for Business Analyst to join a growing and exciting profession of 100 BA's ranging from apprentices starting out on their careers to BAs with many years of experience with different clients, all of whom work together to deliver value for our clients, whilst continually sharing knowledge and expertise.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. You will be required to travel to our office based in Telford on average 3 days per week.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role
As a Business Analyst you’ll work with business stakeholders to define their requirements, translate these into user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
5. Collaborating with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts to deliver an end-to-end solution which meets clients’ requirements.
6. Playing a pivotal role in projects as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team.
7. Be highly customer focused and responsible for building stakeholder relationships.

Your skills and experience
We understand that having time of the industry may mean you aren’t up to date with the very latest tech stack / tools so if you’re not sure you have all the skills you need, but you’re still passionate about the role, please apply and we’ll see if we can support you.

We'd love to talk to someone with experience in some of the following:
8. Working on user-centred product or service development projects.
9. Working in a technical environment, comfortable working closely with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts supporting technical requirements.
10. Defining business process changes
11. Working in a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team, facilitating, and supporting the end-to-end delivery.
12. Supporting and developing other BAs through activities such as mentoring
13. The use of ALM Tooling
14. Incorporating a sustainability mindset into solutions
It would be great if you had the ability to do the below but if you’re not experienced in all of this we can support you through training and development:
15. Understand the architecture and the technologies being used to deliver a solution.
16. Be the intermediary between business requirements and solution design.
17. Facilitate workshops, solve complex problems, writing documents, deliver compelling messages.
18. Support and lead scrum team activities and ceremonies to ensure delivery of team goals.
19. Build collaborative stakeholder relationships with a range of colleagues and clients.
