We’re Hiring: Nationwide Facilities Ltd - Operations Manager
Nationwide Facilities Ltd is a growing facilities management company offering a wide range of external services throughout the UK.
We are an ambitious, forward-thinking business, investing in people, technology, systems and processes to support high-quality service delivery and continued growth.
Our longstanding core business of winter maintenance has enabled us to develop an expansive and growing portfolio of clients, built on high quality service, trust and strong working relationships. As a result, we are now expanding our services across additional external lines.
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, highly organised and confident Manager to lead the operational team and sub-contractor partnership network in the day-to-day delivery of our services.
This is a key role within the business, requiring strong communication skills, operational awareness, attention to detail and the ability to make calm, considered decisions under pressure.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Managing and supporting the internal operations team
* Leading day-to-day service delivery across winter maintenance and wider facilities services
* Managing our sub-contractor partnership network and operational compliance
* Monitoring quality, performance, service evidence and process adherence
* Managing client expectations through clear, professional communication
* Supporting the growth of additional service lines
* Helping improve systems, processes and operational performance
* Managing our app-based operational platform and advanced back-office systems to schedule, coordinate and distribute work across our sub-contractor partnership network
The Successful Applicant Must Have:
* Experience in operations management, facilities, logistics, highways, contractor management, service delivery or a similar environment
* Excellent attention to detail, due diligence and the ability to follow processes
* A positive, proactive can-do attitude, with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise and take ownership of solutions
* Strong telephone manner and written communication skills
* Strong leadership skills, with the confidence to manage and support internal teams, subcontractors and field-based partners
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and make good reactive and proactive decisions
* Strong computer literacy, with confident use of Microsoft Office, app-based platforms and operational management systems
Salary Package:
£40,000–£60,000 p.a basic salary, dependent on experience, plus discretionary performance-related annual bonus.
