What does Paraplanning look like at Ascot Lloyd? Our Paraplanners collaborate closely with advisers and administrators, using expertise in research, cash flow modelling, compliance and suitability reporting to deliver an outstanding client experience. The team values knowledge sharing, professional development and consistent delivery of high-quality advice. Your impact on our clientele: • Review fact finds, file notes, and risk profiles to understand client needs • Conduct detailed research and analysis including fund/portfolio research, product comparisons, charges analysis and tax implications • Prepare pre-meeting documents and cleanse risk profiles • Draft compliant, tailored suitability reports • Liaise with Financial Advisers to refine recommendations • Submit case packs to Tax and Compliance and manage remedial work • Monitor progress in Intelligent Office and ensure deadlines are met • Identify and resolve service delivery issues proactively • Support the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative and uphold Consumer Duty What you’ll bring to the position • Financial Planning Diploma (or equivalent) • Experience in end-to-end paraplanning • Knowledge of Selectapension, FE Analytics, Iress/Exchange, Voyant/FinCalc, Dynamic Planner • Understanding of multi-asset solutions, DFMs and model portfolios • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload • Proficiency in MS Office and Intelligent Office • Commitment to confidentiality and policy adherence
