Job Overview
The M&E Manager will be responsible for managing operational, compliance, and budgetary processes within the team. The role involves ensuring the efficient running of the Engineering Team, Reactive and Planned Maintenance, and related functions. This is a key leadership position requiring strong management skills and a thorough understanding of financial and operational procedures.
Main Responsibilities
1. Line management of the Engineering and Operational Support Teams, including statutory compliance and maintenance activities.
2. Overseeing HR and recruitment for the engineering and support teams.
3. Ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met for maintenance activities.
4. Managing supply chain, including subcontractors and suppliers.
5. Participating in meetings with CBRE and clients.
6. Providing technical and operational support to the team.
7. Managing and submitting reports and compliance documentation.
8. Supporting the Account Manager/Director.
9. Managing WIP, scheduling works, and financial queries.
10. Implementing training plans and conducting audits.
11. Handling escalations and ensuring timely resolution.
12. Scheduling maintenance and ensuring compliance documentation is up-to-date.
13. Managing client escalations and site hazards reporting.
14. Supporting outside of normal hours as needed.
15. Managing specific systems like MTHW and Steam Boilers.
16. Recruiting staff within budgets and company policies.
17. Financial management of WIP and extra works.
18. Ensuring team training and development.
19. Supporting contract and financial reporting.
20. Handling communication and relationship management at all levels.
21. Maintaining QHSE documentation and promoting best practices.
22. Identifying innovations to enhance performance.
23. Promoting CBRE’s core values and behaviors.
Person Specification
* Experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems management.
* Management experience in a similar role.
* Healthcare and HTM experience is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Concept CAFM System and Microsoft Office.
* Relevant qualifications such as C&G Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical and ILM 2.
* Leadership skills, organizational ability, and excellent communication.
* Flexibility to travel and work outside normal hours.
