Support Worker - Weston-super-Mare Salary: £12.50-£13.50 per hour (sleep-ins available) Contract: Full-time / Part-time
We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join a dedicated team in Weston-super-Mare, supporting individuals living with paranoid schizophrenia and acquired brain injuries. About the Role: You'll be providing person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs and neurological conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
Encouraging and facilitating meaningful activities and community engagement
Building trusting relationships and promoting independence
Writing clear, detailed notes and maintaining accurate records
Working as part of a supportive and professional team
What We're Looking For:
Experience in mental health or brain injury support is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and observational skills
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins
A calm, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for care
