There are 2x positions available; 1x full-time at 37 hours per week, 1x part-time at 20 hours per week.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper within the Finance Department of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. NHS GGC Finance Strives to deliver excellence strategic financial management enabled by sound governance business insight and efficient and effective services.
Reporting to the bookkeeping Supervisor, you will join the bookkeeping team which is responsible for providing effective financial governance and control across the NHS GGC Financial Ledger.
Duties include coding expenditure and income, balance sheet reconciliations, preparing prepayments and accruals, journal uploads, raising debtors invoices, input into general ledger and assist at year end accounts.
Basic knowledge of accounting practices and good communications skills are essential.
Candidate should be educated to NVQ level or have relevant experience.
