Location: THE PIG - at Combe, Honiton, EX14 3AD
Salary: Up to OTE £29,200 per annum depending on experience, OTE £16.00 per hour, including tronc
Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days.
The Restaurant is the beating heart of THE PIG. We offer our guests a daily changing menu which is dedicated to the ingredients grown within our own kitchen garden and fresh produce provided by our local suppliers. We guarantee each service to be different, fun, and full of atmosphere.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will create an exciting work atmosphere with a culture focused on family, fun and community. You will be responsible for bringing it together by helping to lead and drive the daily operations within the restaurant. You will support the Restaurant Manager by supervising the performance of the team and ensuring every guest has a positive experience with us. You will lead the food and beverage service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Therefore, good communication and people management skills are a must. You will need to be confident, yet at ease working in an attention-to-detail environment whilst maintaining an informal and accessible approach to all. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and exposure to a busy restaurant service.

Responsibilities
 * Lead and drive daily restaurant operations in line with the business goals and guest experience standards.
 * Supervise the performance of the restaurant team to ensure a positive guest experience.
 * Lead food and beverage service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
 * Demonstrate strong communication and people-management skills; maintain an informal and approachable environment.
Qualifications
 * Previous experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant service.
 * Good communication and leadership abilities.
 * Comfortable working in a detail-oriented environment with a friendly, approachable manner.
