Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our client's company based in Chessington. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of flooring materials to residential and commercial customers, as well as supporting warehouse operations when required.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver flooring products across London and surrounding areasLoad and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damagePlan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and deadlinesCarry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company proceduresProvide excellent customer service at delivery points, representing the company in a professional mannerAssist in the warehouse with picking, packing, and stock organisation when not on deliveriesEnsure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and returned promptlyAdhere to all road transport regulations, health & safety standards, and company policiesRequirementsValid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licenceValid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious experience in a similar driving role (multi-drop experience preferred)Physically fit and able to lift heavy flooring materialsStrong work ethic, punctuality, and reliabilityGood communication and customer service skillsDesirable SkillsExperience in the flooring, construction, or building supplies industuryPay£20.00 including holiday payTPBN1_UKTJ
