Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Mainly working alone
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Collaborate with the hospitality team to develop seasonal menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment while enhancing their culinary skills.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sanitised.
* Assist in the development of new recipes and presentation styles to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
* Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary requirements.
* Experience in team management, with strong leadership qualities to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation.
* A passion for cooking and an eagerness to help others develop their culinary talents.

Pay: £11.44-£15.01 per hour
