What you will do:
1. Undertake investigations on internal unusual activity reports (UARs) that have been raised by colleagues.
2. Analyse and interpret complex information, challenge face value evidence in a professional manner and produce well-informed investigative reports for submission to the National Crime Agency (NCA).
3. Use open-source research and information held by regulatory bodies to support the content of investigations.
4. Manage your own workload and prioritizing cases to make sure that they are worked within business guidelines.

What you will need:
5. Previous experience in an anti-money laundering related role involving transactional analysis
6. In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework and the regulatory environment.
7. A relevant AML or Financial Crime qualification would be desirable but it’s not mandatory.
8. Analytical skills in terms of complex data sets/transactions.
