An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client, who are seeking a highly motivated Data Protection Specialist to provide pivotal support to their clients.

Duties for this Data Protection Specialist include:
1. Assist in implementing data protection policies and procedures within the UK, UAE and GCC regions.
2. Carry out audits, evaluate policies, and assess risks to ensure adherence to data protection regulations.
3. Providing strategic and expert advice, serving as the main contact for regulatory bodies and support clients with data protection-related queries.
4. Keep all compliance records, reports, and documentation current and in line with regulations whilst maintaining GDPR.
5. Support clients with Subject Access Requests (SARs), data breach handling, and other regulatory issues.
6. Offer continuous compliance monitoring, guidance, and incident management support.
The successful candidate will have/be:
7. A working knowledge of the application of GDPR obligations within an organisation in terms of risk and ensuring compliance.
8. Fluent in Arabic (Essential).
9. Good organisational skills and an ability to manage large volumes of data.
10. Experience managing SARs, data breaches, and collaborating with regulators.
11. Attention to detail.
12. Able to build and maintain stable relationships with clients.
