Mercury Hampton is partnering with a global advanced technology manufacturer to appoint a senior Key Account Manager within its aerospace and defence operation.
This is not a traditional sales role. The position is focused on commercial governance, contract management, and long-term relationship ownership in a highly regulated, engineering-led environment.
The Role
You will take ownership of a strategically critical European defence customer, acting as the primary commercial interface between the customer and internal technical and leadership teams.
Around 75% of your time will be dedicated to this single flagship account, with the remaining 25% spent developing additional UK aerospace and defence opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
* Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
* Senior experience managing strategic or key accounts
* Strong background in commercial governance, contracts, and negotiation
* Exposure to aerospace, defence, or advanced engineering
* Comfortable operating in an engineering-led environment
* Eligible for UK security clearance
* Willing to travel internationally
