Pursue what matters Role overview Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Retail Catering and Events Manager to join our team working at Northwood HQ. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Food Service Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional food/events and retail experiences. In this role, you will oversee the preparation of all areas and the presentation of high-quality deli style meals while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and operational standards. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our grab and go and dining services and fostering a positive environment for our customers. Responsibilities This is a key position within Northwood HQ and the role is to drive food presentation and service standards within our Events, Coffee shops, Deli Bar, Grab and Go and Retail shop, Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations and communicate with all staff and culinary leads. Lead a team of food/beverage and retail service staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance. Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies, managing costs and waste effectively. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions, as necessary. Engage with customers to gauge satisfaction and address any concerns, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with culinary staff to innovate and enhance food offerings based on customer feedback and dietary needs. A day in the life of a Retail, Catering and Events Manager: The successful applicant will be expected to manage shifts which includes taking responsibility as well as the store whilst on duty. The manager will support catering events where applicable outside of normal area of work Be an important part of the management team leading the team from the front and to provide a great service to our customers. Take full responsibility for running the business ensuring that customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop. Open and close down procedures as we handle cash and banking, place orders and develop your team of supervisors and assistants Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste. You will be set up for success if you have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments. Passion for food service and commitment to quality. Resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work. Computer literacy in Excel/Word and Powerpoint. The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
