Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive physical activity sessions for EYFS, key stage 1 and key stage 2 pupils.
* Teach a variety of sports and activities, ensuring students are actively participating and developing their skills.
* Create a positive and motivating environment that encourages students to enjoy physical activity and a healthy lifestyles.
* Lead after-school sports clubs, providing additional coaching to students who wish to further develop their skills and interests outside of regular PE lessons.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities, implementing appropriate risk assessments and safety protocols.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students improve their performance.
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to promote the importance of physical education and encourage participation in sporting events and competitions.
Requirements:
* Relevant coaching qualifications
* Minimum 1 years experience working with primary school-aged children.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of a variety of sports and activities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate.
* Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles among children.
* Ability to adapt coaching techniques and strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Reliable and punctual, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
