Business Development Manager
to strengthen relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and partners across the East Midlands, West Midlands and North West.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, relationship-driven professional to play a key part in Para Groups growth journey.
Youll lead our
referrals and partnerships function, ensuring a strong referral pipeline while building and maintaining trusted relationships with
commissioners and local authority placement teams. Youll be the bridge between our operations and partnersmatching the right young people to the right services, and promoting our provision with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow the
referrals pipeline, ensuring efficient processing and high conversion rates.
Build and maintain
strong relationships
with local authority commissioners, placement teams, and other key stakeholders.
Represent Para Group at
commissioning and networking events, promoting our services and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
Support operational teams with placement planning and ensure all referral information is accurate and up to date.
Research and identify opportunities for
business development
within residential care and education sectors.
Maintain high-quality communication and accurate referral data across internal systems.
About You
Were looking for someone who:
Has a background in
childrens social care, education, or supported accommodation .
Brings experience in
business development, referrals, or placements
within childrens services.
Is confident building long-term, meaningful partnerships with external stakeholders.
Works well in a fast-paced environment and thrives on achieving results.
Is proactive, professional, and passionate about improving outcomes for young people.
