This innovative Engineering business provides its service expertise to a multi:sector market, with customers based throughout the UK, Europe and overseas. They provide innovative technical and consultative support for customers within key Engineering industry, including into new industries and emerging technologies.
The role:
Reporting to the MD, in this newly created role you will be responsible for shaping and executing the companys commercial strategy, delivering sales, marketing, and business development activities.
Your responsibilities:
o Strategic Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies for business growth.
o Market Analysis: lead market research to identify new business opportunities from industry trends.
o Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand business in new markets.
o Customers: Provide technical support and guidance to the customer throughout the Project lifecycle.
o Financial Management: Manage budgets, set financial targets, and ensure cost:effectiveness in all commercial activities
o Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
o Proven experience as a Commercial Director or experienced in a similar senior leadership role.
o Ideally from a Mechanical background, you must be a strategic thinker who can plan and implement Commercial and Sales strategies that drive growth.
o You will ideally have experience in setting up and managing a CRM system.
