Estimator – Scaffolding Contractor

Ridgeway & Co are working with a well-established scaffolding subcontractor to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team, based out of their head office in the West Essex / East London area.
This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing business with a strong reputation in delivering access and scaffolding solutions across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for scaffolding packages
*
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
*
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the operational team to gather accurate pricing information
*
Assist with tender adjudications and negotiate final terms
*
Work closely with Directors and Contracts Managers to support project handover and delivery
What We're Looking For:
*
Experience as an Estimator within the scaffolding or access industry
*
Strong understanding of pricing labour, materials, and plant
*
Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
*
Proficient with estimating software and Excel
*
Clear communicator who can work under pressure and to deadlines
