Key Responsibilities of a Senior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer Develop new products from customer requirements through to delivery Design custom electronic boards – schematic capture and PCB layout Conduct board bring-up, verification, and testing Collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team Liaise with clients on integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting Prepare technical documentation and reports Skills & Experience Required for a Senior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer 7 years of electronics design experience in industry Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline Strong analogue and digital circuit design experience Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout Knowledge of microcontrollers, memory, power supplies, and wireless technologies Understanding of design for manufacture and EMC Desirable Experience with WiFi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee Familiarity with Altium Designer Knowledge of C, C++ or Python Embedded software development experience Background in consultancy or R&D environments If you are interested in the Embedded Software Engineer, based in Hertfordshire, please apply today
