Supply Learning Support Assistant - Primary Schools (Glastonbury & Surrounding Areas)
Location: Glastonbury and nearby areas
Pay: £14.66 per hour (PAYE) | £16.14 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract: Supply basis
Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? Prospero Teaching is looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work across Nursery, EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in primary schools throughout Glastonbury and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy flexibility and variety, while gaining experience across different age groups. Working on a supply basis means you'll be the first to hear about long-term and permanent roles in the area.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging learning environment.
Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusion and progress.
Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
Requirements:
Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, nursery, or similar).
A genuine passion for supporting learning and development.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
