Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of Art and Art Teacher in the preparation, organisation, and maintenance of resources, materials, and equipment.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and inspiring environment for students and staff.
* Manage inventories, order supplies, and prepare materials for lessons and examinations.
* Ensure equipment and tools are regularly checked and maintained to meet health and safety standards.
* Provide occasional in-class support to students as required.
* Assist with administrative and practical tasks across the department, as directed by the Leadership Team.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
* Experience working in a school environment.
* Qualifications or demonstrable skills in Art.
* Good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude.
* Basic knowledge of ICT and its applications.
* Awareness of health and safety in a school setting.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness and ability to learn new skills and undertake a variety of practical tasks.
Desirable:
* Previous experience supporting an Art Department in a busy secondary school.

The successful candidate will be required to promote the welfare of children and adhere to the school’s safeguarding policies. An enhanced DBS check will be required prior to appointment.
