Are you a passionate Physics teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting for a long term secondary Physics teacher to begin their role as soon as possible.
This Harbourne based school with an excellent reputation for academic outcomes is looking for a dynamic Physics teacher for approximately one years maternity cover on a 0.8 contract, (meaning no work on a Thursday) The successful candidate will be joining their vibrant science department for their Key stage 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4) students to deliver Physics lessons.
Responsibilities for the Physics Teacher role
Deliver Physics lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes (potential to cover KS5 is also available if interested)
Full planning, marking and assessment required. (Scheme of work already in place)
Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
Work with Head of Science Department to plan lessons.
Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.
Required skills and experience for the Physics Teacher role:
Experience in teaching Physics in Secondary schools.
Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS preferred but ECT’s (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
