Overview

Facilities Helpdesk & Compliance Manager role at Butlin's, Bognor Regis, United Kingdom.


Responsibilities

* Lead the Facilities Helpdesk team in coordinating all technical and housekeeping jobs for the resort, ensuring prioritisation and timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
* Collaborate with the Facilities Head of Department, wider Facilities team, Resort Duty Managers and other department leaders to align on priorities and action plans.
* Manage day-to-day compliance across the resort and ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations in line with Butlin’s policies and legislation.
* Liaise with all resort contractors, conduct meetings and briefings, and follow through on action plans.
* Recruit, train, and develop the Facilities Helpdesk team, maintaining a culture of guest focus and high standards.
* Provide regular 1:1s and PDP discussions to support team development and career progression at Butlin’s.
* Operate in a fast-paced environment using in-house systems for planned preventative maintenance and reactive jobs across all areas of the resort.


About You / Qualifications

* Passionate leader with experience in maintenance, construction or facilities in a detail-led environment.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with teams at all levels; proactive and solution-oriented.
* Curious mindset, not afraid to challenge the status quo, with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in leading and developing a team, with regular coaching and development discussions.
* Passionate about delivering guest experiences and continuously seeking improvements.


Work Details

Butlin’s resort is open year-round. Typical hours are 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, with shifts between 8am and 10pm.
