Location: Units 3 - 4, Whitemyres Avenue
Duration: Permanent, Full Time
This post is based in the Telecare Service, which provides technology solutions to enable people to live independently at home. You will assess users for equipment within their home environment, install/review/assess for bespoke solutions, and hold awareness sessions on the equipment with various staff groups. Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Requirements
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
SVQ level 3 or equivalent, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and competencies gained through relevant experience for the role applied for.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
* The ability to communicate effectively and work in partnership with service users, staff, carers, families, and professionals to achieve improved outcomes for service users.
* An ability to work as part of a team and provide guidance and support to other members of staff.
* The ability to work proactively with limited supervision and know when to refer matters to a senior manager.
* The ability to move and handle objects safely.
* The ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
* The ability to use IT equipment, including stock control systems, databases, and hand-held technology.
* The ability to assess risk while delivering services to meet user needs.
* The ability to undertake installation, repairs, and DIY tasks.
* The ability to carry out day-to-day maintenance and ensure cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and tools.
* The ability to provide training and guidance on equipment use to the public, staff, and healthcare professionals.
* The ability to maintain accurate records of work activities and equipment using organisational recording processes.
* Compliance with all health and safety regulations related to equipment, tools, and PPE.
