As a Future Products Principal Systems Engineer within the newly formed Future Products department, part of Missile Design UK: Emerging Portfolio & Capability, you will support MBDA’s Vision 2040 in various roles.
Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will undergo HMG BPSS checks.

The opportunity:
You will support early phase design, combining core systems engineering, business development, customer engagement, and technology assessment. Responsibilities include road-mapping, requirement elicitation, bidding, and team coordination. You will develop skills in System Design tools like DOORS and Rhapsody, and support multiple future systems and business areas.
What we're looking for:
* Knowledge of DOORS, Rhapsody, and systems analysis tools
* Strong systems engineering background and innovative approach
* Experience with weapons systems and missile design is beneficial
* Understanding of weapon systems, platforms, and subsystems
* Ability to navigate early concept development and technology integration
* Negotiation and influence skills with internal and external partners
* Experience in planning and task management
