We are passionate about providing high quality care services to adults with a learning disability and complex needs. In developing Zero Three Care services it has been important to bring together people who share a vision of what high quality services for people with a learning disability should look like and to employ compassionate, caring, trustworthy individuals, who see their role as much more than a job.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join a dynamic and innovative PBS team at Zero Three Care supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and other complex diagnoses living in residential and supported living homes. The successful candidate will:
* Oversee several sites within Zero Three Care and be responsible for completing Functional Assessments which will be used to inform PBS Plans for the individuals living at those sites.
* Maintain a data-driven and person-centred approach to their PBS practice.
* Facilitate meetings with the staff teams and management within the sites overseen.
* Contribute to the development of the quality of PBS delivered at Zero Three Care to improve the quality of life for the people supported via PBS Team Meetings, continued professional development and reflective practice.
* Monitor the fidelity and efficacy of PBS strategies via producing case studies and reports to assess overall effectiveness.
* Be willing to training as a PROACT-SCIPr-UK instructor and deliver training across all services.
The PBS team strives to make a real difference to the lives of people with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism and their support workers. Caseloads enable both short and long-term PBS practice. We adopt a PBS framework; thus, you will have the time to conduct comprehensive assessments; develop formulations in collaboration with the individuals we support and staff teams; and support the implementation of new approaches and interventions. Please see job description for more details.
Other benefits include:
* Enrolment into the NEST pension scheme
* Long service awards to include a voucher bonus after 2 years and again after 3 years’ service, and a cash bonus after 5 years, 7 years, 10 years, and 15 years’ service.
