Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and PROACT-SCIPr-UK Instructor

Zero Three Care Homes LLP was launched at the end of 2003 with the first service opening it’s doors in November 2004.

We are passionate about providing high quality care services to adults with a learning disability and complex needs. In developing Zero Three Care services it has been important to bring together people who share a vision of what high quality services for people with a learning disability should look like and to employ compassionate, caring, trustworthy individuals, who see their role as much more than a job.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join a dynamic and innovative PBS team at Zero Three Care supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and other complex diagnoses living in residential and supported living homes. The successful candidate will:

* Oversee several sites within Zero Three Care and be responsible for completing Functional Assessments which will be used to inform PBS Plans for the individuals living at those sites.
* Maintain a data-driven and person-centred approach to their PBS practice.
* Facilitate meetings with the staff teams and management within the sites overseen.
* Contribute to the development of the quality of PBS delivered at Zero Three Care to improve the quality of life for the people supported via PBS Team Meetings, continued professional development and reflective practice.
* Monitor the fidelity and efficacy of PBS strategies via producing case studies and reports to assess overall effectiveness.
* Be willing to training as a PROACT-SCIPr-UK instructor and deliver training across all services.

The PBS team strives to make a real difference to the lives of people with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism and their support workers. Caseloads enable both short and long-term PBS practice. We adopt a PBS framework; thus, you will have the time to conduct comprehensive assessments; develop formulations in collaboration with the individuals we support and staff teams; and support the implementation of new approaches and interventions. Please see job description for more details.

Other benefits include:

* Enrolment into the NEST pension scheme
* Long service awards to include a voucher bonus after 2 years and again after 3 years’ service, and a cash bonus after 5 years, 7 years, 10 years, and 15 years’ service.
* Mileage and expenses paid

Zero Three Care aspires to develop its reputation in the provision of high-quality specialist services to people with a learning disability. We offer a range of valued and meaningful opportunities to actively support and empower people with a learning disability and associated difficulties to participate in activities which enhance the quality of their lives. We work in partnership with parents and/or carers, the local community and local services in order to expand support networks, thus promoting independence and ensuring that the people we support are fully included in the running of their home and are respected as part of the local community. We ensure that services are responsive and well led, endorsing an attitude of openness and transparency to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all. We employ caring, compassionate and enabling staff who will receive excellent training, enjoy their work and who will be encouraged to take a flexible and innovative approach, pushing the boundaries of what it is possible to achieve. This provides an excellent atmosphere in which individuals can grow and challenge assumptions that they and others may have made about their lives.
