The Role
We're looking for an FP&A Manager / Lead to partner closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and play a key role in shaping how finance supports a growing, data-driven business.

Salary & Location
£75,000 – £85,000
Hybrid – Manchester
We're happy to discuss flexibility around this to make it work for the right person.
Why this role is different
This is a chance to help build, not just maintain.
You'll be joining at a point where finance is evolving — with the opportunity to:
* Shape how planning, reporting, and analysis are done
* Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business
* Improve how data is used to support better decisions
You'll also have the chance to develop your leadership skills, with a clear pathway toward a future Head of Commercial Finance role.
What you'll be doing
Planning & Performance
* Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Deliver clear, actionable performance insights
* Help translate financial data into practical business decisions
Commercial Support
* Build business cases and scenario models
* Support decisions around pricing, costs, and growth
* Analyse product and customer performance
Data & Insight
A key part of this role is improving how finance uses data.
You'll:
* Develop KPI frameworks and dashboards (Power BI)
* Improve reporting structures and data models
* Support automation and reduce manual processes
* Work closely with Data and Tech teams
Leadership & Development
* Support and mentor junior team members
* Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders
* Grow into a broader leadership role over time
What we're looking for
We know great candidates don't always meet every requirement — if this role sounds like a good fit, we'd encourage you to apply.
* Experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance (typically 4+ years)
* Experience with budgeting and forecasting
* Strong Excel skills and financial modelling
* Experience with Power BI or similar tools
* Exposure to SQL or data tools is helpful, but not essential
* Comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
Why join?
* Clear progression pathway
* Opportunity to shape a growing finance function
* Supportive, collaborative environment
* Exposure to senior decision-making
* Investment in data tools and modern ways of working
Final note
If you're someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking with data, and you're looking for a role where you can grow and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
