A leading organisation is seeking an Interim Senior Procurement Manager to take ownership of HR & Benefits spend during a key period of change and commercial activity.


This role will focus on driving value across a broad portfolio of HR related categories, including employee benefits, reward, pensions, learning and development, recruitment, and wider HR services. You will be responsible for leading sourcing activity, managing key supplier relationships, and supporting stakeholders to deliver both cost and service improvements.


Operating within a fast paced environment, this is a hands on role requiring someone who can quickly embed, build credibility with stakeholders, and deliver tangible outcomes.


Key responsibilities:

• Lead end to end procurement activity across HR & Benefits categories

• Deliver sourcing projects across areas such as pensions, healthcare, insurance, L&D, and recruitment services

• Partner closely with HR stakeholders to align procurement strategy with business needs

• Drive commercial value through negotiations, supplier consolidation, and contract optimisation

• Manage and develop key supplier relationships, ensuring strong performance and governance

• Provide market insight and benchmarking across HR and benefits categories

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks

• Support wider procurement initiatives and transformation activity where required


What we are looking for:

• Proven experience operating as an interim or senior procurement professional

• Strong category expertise across HR, benefits, and professional services

• Demonstrable track record of delivering sourcing and cost optimisation projects

• Experience engaging and influencing senior HR stakeholders

• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

• Ability to operate in a fast paced environment and deliver at pace

• Experience within complex or matrixed organisations is advantageous
