ADHD Teaching Assistant - Lytham
Location: Lytham, Lancashire
Salary: £89–£95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Lytham that is seeking a dedicated ADHD Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with ADHD or other neurodiverse conditions, either in education, care, or youth work settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ADHD
* Implement strategies to help manage attention, behaviour, and emotional regulation
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities
* Build trusting relationships with pupils to boost confidence and engagement
* Monitor progress and contribute to support plans and reviews
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with ADHD or SEND (formal or informal)
* A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for inclusive education
* DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
Desirable:
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Psychology degree, Team Teach)
* Knowledge of ADHD strategies and behaviour support techniques
