Job Description
3. Process and code supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
5. Prepare and execute payment runs in line with organisational procedures.
6. Maintain and update purchase ledger accounts to ensure records are current and correct.
7. Assist with month-end processes, including ledger reconciliations and reporting.
8. Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
9. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues effectively.
10. Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. Previous experience in a similar role
12. A good understanding of purchase ledger processes and accounting principles.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
14. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. An ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
16. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvements
