Overview
Junior Sous Chef required for this fast paced, University kitchen. Working in the main kitchen, you will be working as part of a team, cooking everything from scratch, producing a daily changing, 3 choice menu, alongside a range of lighter meals.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a friendly team, liaising with the Head Chef and other Sous Chefs.
* Supervise Chef de Parties ensuring that daily prep is completed on time and to the correct standards.
* Cook in a fast paced environment, producing from-scratch meals and a daily changing menu.
* Help maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Qualifications
* Experience of cooking with fresh ingredients.
* Ideally previous experience of working in Hotels, Restaurants, Colleges, Universities, or higher end Contract Caterers.
Location & Requirements
* Applicants will need to live in the Cambridge, Duxford or Newmarket area.
* Located 10-15 minutes from the train station.
* Working straight shifts with a mixture of early or midday starts and every other weekend off.
