Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Grappenhall St Wilfrid's CE Primary School
37 hours per week – Permanent. Hours 8.15am until 4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8.15am until 3.15pm on Fridays.
Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs both in and out of the classroom.
* Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to suit individual learning needs.
* Support behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
* This post includes pastoral duties including lunchtime cover and may also include some whole class teaching cover.
Qualifications and attributes
* Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Is flexible, resilient and committed to inclusive education.
* Has experience of ELSA or a willingness to undertake training.
* Is enthusiastic and committed to helping children succeed.
* Has experience of working with pupils with special educational needs.
* Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
* Is committed to raising standards.
* Has excellent interpersonal skills, is a team player and has the desire to fully contribute to our happy school.
