Affinity Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Secondary Supply teacher to help support a growing number of well-established schools within and across the Swindon area. We are keen to hear from anybody who is looking for a challenge and available to work as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans: Follow the absent teachers plans to ensure students stay on track with the curriculum.
* Record and report progress: Keep track of attendance, behaviour, and any notable academic issues for the returning teacher.
* Manage classroom behaviour: Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment, even with unfamiliar students.
* Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work to the best of their ability.
* Adapt quickly to new environments: Familiarise yourself with school policies, routines, and expectations- often with little notice.
To register with Affinity Workforce Solutions, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS).
* Right to Work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willing to put one in process (we can support with this)
* Previous experience within an educational setting supporting students.
* Ability to provide references for the last two years (can be a combination of professional, academic and character).
