SLR's ecology team is growing quickly, and to support this, we are looking for an experienced Ornithologist to join our expert, friendly team.

The role
The role involves conducting field surveys across various sites and report writing to support our expanding portfolio of renewable energy projects across the UK. Depending on your experience, there will be opportunities to develop skills in various survey types and methodologies, working with rare and protected species in diverse landscapes.
As part of our ornithology services division, you will receive support from experienced professionals to help develop your skills and meet your career goals.

About you
Depending on your experience, duties may include:
* Assisting with and leading ornithology surveys using various methodologies
* Maintaining accurate digital field notes following scientific principles
* Data analysis, report writing, and data management
* Conducting other surveys such as water vole, otter, badger, bats, and habitats
Note that the role may involve remote work, travel, and occasional out-of-hours work due to site requirements.
