Overview
A leading UK Consultancy who provides expert analytical advice across a range of sectors including Financial Services, Energy and Healthcare are looking to recruit a highly capable Qualified Accountant with consultancy experience.
This niche growing consultancy division provides research, market data and analysis to large UK corporates who require in depth scrutiny. The financial services team advise clients and trustees on complex funding & investment strategies. Energy and Healthcare provide invaluable analysis and forecasting helping businesses make investment and strategic decisions.
Using Financial Accounting, External Audit, and Consultancy skills you will add valuable insight to clients and help interpret complex information into easy to understand reports and analysis.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation of pension covenant assessments for M&A, Pension Scheme Mergers, Corporate restructuring and refinancing. (Financial Services Team)
* Conduct deep due diligence providing clients with detailed analysis and reporting to base investment decisions. (Energy Team)
* Engage with clients; attending client meetings and helping present advice when needed.
* Discuss complex financial data with clients financing teams
* Produce in depth research, analysis and written reports
* When required, assist with the tendering process for new clients.
* Take an active interest in the growth of the department, help develop technical marketing material.
Qualifications
* You must be a qualified accountant with relevant post qualification consultancy experience.
* Be able to display experience in analysing statutory & management accounts and produce insightful written reports.
* Communication well with clients and colleagues gaining confidence that you work in accurate and deadlines can be met.
* Be willing to learn and develop your skills. Progress towards a consultancy based career and become a key member of the team.
