An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in the London Borough of Bexley is seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to lead on Relationships, Behaviour and Attendance.
This is a pivotal senior leadership role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape whole-school culture, strengthen positive relationships and drive outstanding behaviour and attendance outcomes. The post would suit an experienced and inspirational leader with a strong moral purpose and a proven track record of impact at senior level.
The Role:
1. Strategic leadership of behaviour, relationships and attendance across the school
2. Oversight of pastoral systems and student wellbeing
3. Driving a culture of high expectations, inclusivity and respect
4. Working closely with the Headteacher and SLT to deliver the school’s vision
5. Line management of key pastoral and inclusion teams
The Ideal Candidate:
6. An experienced senior leader (Deputy Headteacher or Assistant Headteacher ready to step up)
7. Strong expertise in behaviour management, pastoral leadership and attendance strategies
8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire staff and students
9. A clear commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student success
